No Barcode is a blog about the modern past curated by Javier Garcia. It is a collection of found Graphic Design and Illustration documented for preservation of present and future generations.
I’m a collector and graphic designer in the San Francisco/Bay Area. I enjoy digging trough junk to find gems of the past when barcodes didn’t exist. Mostly interested in Modernism in whatever form it comes (packaging, record covers, ephemera, etc.)
I usually take time to photograph my items and to write original content. It’s ok if you want to borrow my images but please take some of your time to credit me and always add a link to my site. Enjoy.
